Smart Door Solutions was originally founded by Lee Steele in January 2013, with the desire to compete with other door companies both locally and nationally.

After working for a national company within this sector for many years, Lee believed that he could provide a more personalised service at a much lower price and still maintain high standards.

His belief turned into Smart Door Solutions Ltd – Your total solution for automatic, industrial & commercial doors, barriers and gates.

Lee’s dedication and commitment has helped grow the company from a sole trader business to a limited company, working locally and employing local people including apprentices – see our team.

Lee is responsible for the day to day management of the business, sales, project management and so much more.

When he’s not working you’ll either find Lee down at Oakwell, watching the Mighty Reds, who he’s supported since being a young lad or on the coast walking with Di and their Dalmatian Holly.
